Republicans helping tank Republicans

The Washington Dispatch spewed a nice vile piece of garbage today, calling Gov. Dean “Karl Rove’s wet dream”.

The next obvious step is for Republicans to register as Democrats where necessary and vote in the Democrat primary for the GOP dream opposition candidate. Is the GOP confident enough that Dean’s bandwagon will drive off the cliff in the 2004 general election that they are willing to take the necessary step to keep Dean’s momentum going? The answer is clear.

Talk about low balling the candidate. Didn’t Republicans desperately try to win voters over with Ralph Nader in swing states (Wisconsin specifically) because they were so uneasy about defeating Al “Stiffy” Gore?

Pathetic… Especially if they follow this proposed formula and watch as George W. Bush is fed defeat.
