If you read the Tampa Tribune, sometimes you love Daniel Ruth and sometimes you want to slap the hell out of him…which is why I trust the guy completely. Anyone I always agree with is just kissing my rump, and anyone I always disagree with is just trying to stir things up…

Anyway, one of the values I espouse is that action speaks louder than words, which is something that the Bushies and their acolytes would like us to forget. In their world, contemptible actions are okay as long as you say the right things. The scary part is that a lot of people apparently feel it’s okay to be the Commander In Chief despite being a deserter from that same military. Or that it’s cool to give lectures about values and morals while having extramarital affairs…

The list could go on and on, but Ruth has a moment of clarity and positions himself in the corner of common sense with his column here.
