Bush to Iraqi Militants: 'Bring Them On'
President Cowboy is back on the case:
President Bush on Wednesday had a tough message for Iraqi militants attacking U.S. troops — “Bring them on” — and said the U.S. military presence was sufficient to deal with the attackers.
“There are some who feel like that conditions are such that they can attack us there,” Bush told reporters at the White House. “My answer is bring them on. We have the force necessary to deal with the situation.”
I’m not sure how he’s supposed to feel when the next solider dies after making this kind of statement. I’d feel pretty awful for the kid’s family, but I have a soul.
Tell me again why people think that Republicans are pro-military.

I have been starting to wonder if the real reason we attacked Iraq was to put Americans on the ground in a country where Moslem militants can get to them easily. Doing so might deter them from bringing suicide bombers to the US shores. But then, I am a cynical old unreformed pinko ex hippie conspiracy theorist nutso.
I'm glad to see we have good company around here, hello Marie :)
